Hello Lovelies!
I hope everyone has had a fabulous week!
I got an exciting piece of mail on Wednesday and I meant to share it with ya'll then.

It's offical!
I've been accepted to the University of Mississippi!!!

Well I'm about to go watch the Rebs play Georgia before settling in for Bama vs Arkansas this afternoon.
Just thought I'd share what's going in my life.

Gameday on the Quad

Hi Doll Faces!
I hope everyone's week went well. Mine's been long.
Three AP classes and Government have me running raged.
From an AP English test that every single person (47 people) failed to studying over three hours last night for my first AP Bio test and completely forgetting about my AP Calc homework, I'm very glad the weekend is here.
Even though its leading me to work on homework on a Friday night, I'm very excited about tomorrow.
The Green Mean of North Texas are heading down to Tuscaloosa tomorrow and
So. Am. I!

It's the first time I've been down on  campus since about June and I'm so excited!
Even better is the fact that it's a night game starting at 6:30 so instead of getting up at the crack of dawn, we're leaving the 'boro around noon to get about three hours in on Campus before Kick-Off.
I'm wearing this dress
with my houndstooth elephant necklace and some form of shoes.
I hope everyone has a great Saturday and all your teams win.
(Unless you're yelling for that team)
Love ya'll!
ROLL TIDE!

Red Rover, Red Rover, Happy Birthday Little Brother

At this time 14 years ago, I was spending then night at my Memomma's due to the fact my mother was in the hospital.
A little gift that was due on Turkey Day decided that he was entering the world a few months early.
Ryland William
Born September 12th, 1997

The present that 3 year old me really didn't want.
Somedays, I still don't.
None the less. I'm so glad I have my little brother.
The Redhead might get on my last nerve and he can be obnoxious and annoying and every little thing little brothers are suppose to be but I won't trade him in the world.
Though you may be taller then me now, you'll always be little RyRy.
I love you little brother.
Happy Birthday.

Talk to you soon,

Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning?

On September 11, 2001 this was the view that greeted many Americans.
Today, it's been 10 years since that day.
Today many people are saying, where were you when you heard the news?
For many of my generation, we remember but we weren't old enough to really know at the time.
I was in 2nd Grade in Ms. Bailey's class.
The school was put under lock down and no one was told anything.
I remember all the teachers going around crying.
My Momma was the one who told me.
She was subbing that day for one of the 3rd grade teachers.
It was the day before my brother's 4th birthday.
I remember coming home and hearing how there were so many first aid tents set up and that they never got to be used because there wasn't anyone to be saved.
It's a day that we will never forget.
10 years later and today the memorial is finally done to honor all those amazing people.

It's a day that so many innocent people loss their lives all due to hatred.
Remember this day and remember everyone is a person and needs the respect they deserve.
Maybe if we can just do that then nothing like this will ever happen again.

You are all loved.
Don't forget that!

Is It Raining at your House Like it's Raining at Mine?

Happy Monday evening everyone!
I hope everyone has a grand labor day.
Here in the Valley, it has been raining cats and dogs thanks to Tropical Storm Lee
Like 4 plus inches already and another 4-6 overnight.
Downtown Scottsboro has been closed off for flooding.
(Neither of the pictures are mine but to put it simple, I've never had a pool but there might be a God made one out back now)
So my day has been spent inside doing homework and studying for the ACT.
Oh and lots and lots and lots of time on Pinterest. I'm obsessed.
Like crazy bad obsessed.
Personally, I'm hoping maybe school will delayed in the morning.
It probably wont happen but a girl can dream.

Stay safe, stay dry and have a great week!
