The First of the Lasts

I am so sorry I've fallen off the face of the Bloggersphere.
I've just been major busy and very uninspired lately.
Today was as Coach Keller put it, "The First of the Lasts" as I took my senior pictures today.
I also may be changing my future home.
All my life, I've been raised with "Roll Tide" coming from my lips.
And that of course will never change.
But this past Monday, my family and I took a trip to Oxford, Mississippi to check out the University of Mississippi.
I really loved it.
The campus is beautiful and the people were so friendly and I really felt welcomed.
So now, this girl that was always "Bama Bound" may very well be getting to be yelling "Go Rebs"
I have a lot of decisions to make as this up coming year is upon us.
I hope you'll all be there to join me on this ride.
Thanks for always being there.
You have no idea how much it brightens my day to know, what I'm has actually been looked at by people.

Sorry for the random post tonight. Except TTYS to get back to normal soon.
As always,

5 Weeks and Counting...

5 Weeks.
36 Days, 6 Hours, 28 Minutes.
That's how long is left of my summer.
Which is sad.
But also, it's very exciting,
because that means I'm that close to SENIOR YEAR!
And boy does senior year feel close.
Next Wednesday, I have my senior pictures.
This past Wednesday, I applied to the University of Alabama and once I go up to school to get my transcripts sent, I should be excepted.
I go to visit Ole Miss in just a week.
And to top it all of there's only 314 Days, 11 Hours and 25 minutes until my Graduation.
This is nuts.
But so so so exciting!
I hope you're all here to join me on this journey.

It All Ends Here

I was 8 years old when Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone came out.
It was November 2001.
That was the day that the magic entered my life.
It's been 10 years since then.
One week from today.
It's all over.
As of 10:06, it's exactly 6 days, 1 hour and 52 minutes until an end of an era.
I'll probably cry.
JKR herself, has said that this is the best one of all 8 films.
I'm excepting the best.
I hope you all join me on this journey to the end.
Long Live the Boy Who Lived.

Happy Independence Day

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
I hope no matter how you are celebrating, you are having a wonderful day.
We have plans to grill out and just enjoy the day as a family.
In spite of that, I have found some 4th of July desserts to share

And while you're out celebrating with friends and family, don't forget what this day is truly about.
And don't for get to sent a prayer for our soldiers over there still fighting to keep us the land of the free.

"I love my freedom.  I love my America."  ~Jessi Lane Adams

May you all be blessed.
Happy 4th.

Alabama Recap

Hello Lovelies!
I hope everyone's weekend is going swell.
As I told ya'll about, yesterday I headed to Tuscaloosa to (yet again) visit the University of Alabama
We started our day with an information session at 11:30.
Most of the stuff I had already known but I did find out that Freshman Applications are coming out July 6th instead of yesterday July 1st.
After the information session, we were taken out to lunch at the Ferguson Center.
The Ferg Plaza
After lunch, we headed across campus to the science and engineering building with a meet with one of the professors.
That was...interesting...

Following that we headed to Nott Hall to meet with Allison Verhine at the Honors College.
This was my second time to meet her and I absolutely adore her. She is such a friendly person.
Following that, Momma stopped us to take a few pictures on the Quad.
 Ryland and Daddy
 Me
 Outside Gorgas Library
 Ryland and I outside Gorgas

 Outside Denny Chimes

 Daddy and Ryland
I think the look on our faces shows our relationship real well
Bryant-Denny Stadium

After we finished on the Quad, we headed down to Ridgecrest South to tour a dorm room.
That's the link for the floor plan of the rooms.
They're set up in an apartment style.
Front of Ridgecrest

The "living room" inside the dorm room
Kitchenette with full fridge, microwave and sink included in all rooms.
Plus a full kitchen with stove on each floor
Large bathroom with a nice size storage
Vanity with 2 sets of 3 drawers and a medicine cabinet not shown.
(Excuse me looking like a hot mess, as always it was about a billion and a half with 5000% humidity in Tuscaloosa and well...)
One of the four bedrooms in the dorm room
And again. Each room features a bed, a dresser and a desk with chair
And the closet which was actually a very nice size.

Could this be my home sweet home?
Well, I'm leaning towards yes.
What do ya'll think?
