Long time, no talk

Hello Lovlies,

It's been a very long time since I've posted on here.

Hell, it was the middle of September last time I bothered.

And looking back on that, it's like holy shit crap was I naive at what freshman year of college would really be like.

And it hasn't even been a year since then.

Like a year ago, I would have never imagined my life would be anything at all like it is now.

When I last posted in September, I don't think I could imagine life to happen as it did freshman year.

And I guess it sounds like I just have a lot of untold stories.

So let's see if we can feel in some holes.

First semester was good.

I made some really good friends, classes were pretty simple, you know all that fun stuff.

Football games, freshman things, that sort of stuff.

Second semester things sort of went to crap.

I had two very big breakdowns, which included:

•  me thinking about dropping out of school
• looking at every major that UA has to offer in order to chancge from chemical engineering
• nearly failing two classes
• Somehow managing to pass both those classes (along with all my others)
• Making a few of probably the best of friends I've had in the longest time
• Not getting hired for a co-op
• Realizing that while my life wasn't going how my high school self had planned, that it was still ok.

And now we're here.

I survived my freshman year of college.

I have an unhealthy obsession to Tumblr

I'm still majoring in Chemical Engineering but have added a History minor

I'm on the brink of my 19th birthday.

I'm taking summer classes at Northeast.

I got hired at Walmart for the summer

I've come to realize that while I love Scottsboro and it's always be my hometown, I've outgrown it

While I'm scared of what the future might hold, I'm actually so excited to see what might happen.

I'm not going to make any promises that I'll actually use this but I'm going to try.

Because maybe one day it'll be worth to have this record of my life. (Which is the only reason I'm not deleting everything else on here and starting over)

Hi...

It's been a while.

Like a long while.

I haven't forgotten my blog.

I just haven't had anything to really say.

Since the last time we talked a lot has been happening.

2 football games.

1 test.

Endless nights of fun.

Sunburns from hell.

Studying.

Class.

New Friends.

I went home for labor day.

Ry-Ry turned 15.

Parents have separably visited twice.

And that's really about it.

It sounds like nothing but has been so much.

New little nest to call home.

Hello Dolls!

Sorry its been a while.

I decided that sorority life was not right for me and went home for a few days.

I came back Saturday and my best friend Shelby came down from UAB and spend the day with me.

Last night we had Fun at the Rec and I played lazer tag for like 5 hours.

It was great.

And today I went and found all my classes and get to tackle my lovely laundry this evening!

Tomorrow I'm volunteering with the Ripple Effect doing Tornado Relief. Its been a year and there is still so much of Tuscaloosa that is still hurting. 

Sadly, I still don't have pictures of my dorm room.

I'll get them up soon.

Update

Hi my loves!

Sorry I haven't posted.

I am now in my dorm room and on day 4 of rush!

I wish I had pictures to post but I have yet to get around to that.

Going from 7AM-7PM has been some very long days.

I even have nice shoulder burns today.

Thanks to a computer glitch, we've gotten moved from starting at 9 to starting at 10:30.

We made our first cuts last night so hopefully I'll get asked back to my favorites!

I'll try to keep y'all updated.

Seriously.

So come Friday, I will no longer call the 'Boro home.

Mousercise

So if anyone attended Nelson Elem from 1990-2004, (and probably for many years before and after)

you had the greatest p.e. teacher in Scott Dobbins.

And if you did, you'd remember how we'd always Mickey's Mousercise.

Youtube has had me nalsogic 

and well look what I've found.

One Week Left.

TEAM USA

In case you've been living under a very very very small rock, in the ocean, on Mars, the 2012 London Olympics are taking place!

So far The USA Team has won 5 metals.

1 Gold

2 Silver 

2 Bronze

Now let me just say I love the Olympics!

LOVE!

It's like heaven.
